Meal Planning Made Easy

Life is good!

A little about me....I am a mother of two living in Arizona who cannot function until I have had my morning coffee. Some nights I can't function without a glass of wine..... Any day with chocolate is a bonus!

I love to cook and often like to see how much I can stretch my budget while doing so! I must confess I am also a type A personality. Having a meal plan for the week just makes my day oh so much better! I like knowing what we are having for dinner and that I don't have to make a last minute stop at the grocery store. I also know that avoiding those last minute stops helps us save money.

Growing up I spent a lot of time with my grandma who made everything from scratch. I was blessed to receive all of her hand written recipes when she passed two years ago. Many of the recipes that I share on my Blog came from my grandma. Others are ideas that I have manipulated into my own. I have the darndest time following a recipe to the "T".

I am aware that some people do not like to cook or have never been taught how to cook. The recipes that I share are easy to make and affordable. I want everyone, everywhere to be able to afford the ingredients to make my recipes. I am not professionally trained. Just an ordinary mom sharing her ideas with other people through my weekly meal planner and Blog!
